What is CBD? How do I Vape CBD?

CBD is a relatively new product hitting the markets and has left people with plenty of questions such as What is CBD? How do I Vape CBD?

What is CBD?

CBD stands for Cannabidiol. This is what’s left of the Hemp or Cannabis plant when the Tetrahydrocannabinol or THC is removed from the base, leaving you with a psychoactive substance.

Does CBD get you high?

CBD cannot get you "high" and there has never been any reports of life changing or serious side-effects from overdosing on CBD as this is not psychoactive so it will not affect your daily tasks such as driving or working with CBD.

CBD is classed as a non-toxic substance and is available to purchase for those over the age of 18 years old in the UK.

The view of CBD is changing and is now used in a variety of different products available from many high street stores and super-markets. Cannabis in general is being viewed in a brighter light too with the sponsorship from celebrities like Dan Blitzarian who created Ignite CBD which are available in CBD Pods for a proprietary CBD Pen and also Topical Lip Balms.

Can You Vape CBD? How Do I Vape CBD?

Yes, you can vape CBD E-Liquid!
Many brands such as Aztec, Dinner Lady CBDFly CBD and Marie Jeanne make wonderful CBD E-Liquid which is safe and easy to use.

Depending on the type of CBD you select, you'll have to check the PG/VG ratio to make sure this will be compatible with your device.
Our Aztec CBD is available in a 50% PG / 50% VG E-Liquid base which means this a thin liquid and perfect for use with most Vaping Starter Kits or Pod Kits such as the Vaporesso Xros or Caliburn G. The Vaporesso XROS is a great CBD Vape pen due to the higher resistance coils which give you plenty of adjustment with air-flow and coil type to vape CBD Eliquid successfully.

Can You Vape CBD Oil?

No, You can't vape CBD Oil.

CBD oils are used for ingesting such as in dripping it on your tongue or to be added to edible food, never vape "CBD Oil".

CBD Oil is not designed to be Vaped. Vaping CBD Oil is a health risk and is designed to be used in other ways. When purchasing CBD, make sure you are aware of how to consume the product to avoid any nasty surprises. If you're unsure, please email us via web.shop@londonvapehouse.com or speak to our London Vape House retail staff so we can double check to keep you safe.

How Much CBD E-Liquid Should I Vape?

There are no set in stone rules to Vaping CBD as you cannot overdose on CBD. But there are three main factors to guide you to understanding how to dose CBD correctly yourself.

1) The reason you'd like to use CBD
2) Your Weight and Body Mass
3) The Strength of CBD

If you've got a larger body mass, you will need more CBD to notice the effect but we would recommend to start with a smaller level of CBD such as 100mg CBD and then work up to reach your desired effect of CBD.

To work out how many puffs of CBD E-Liquid you should be taking in a day, this varies on the delivery system of how your body will accept the CBD, you may need to use trial and error to help you set the correct dosage.

What Wattage Should I Vape CBD At?

To get the best answer, you would need to know what CBD E-Liquid you're planning to Vape. Brands like Aztec CBD have a 50% VG / 50% PG E-Liquid base which is designed for lower wattage devices or pods and tanks. Similar to how you'd use regular Nicotine E-liquid.

We would recommend Vaping CBD E-Liquid which has a 50%VG / 50%PG base at under 25 Watts. This does depend on your Coil variants. But If you have a Low Wattage starter kit such as the Aspire K3 Kit or the Xros Mini Vape Kit, then these will both work great for Vaping CBD.

What's The Best Vape For CBD?

There is not really a "best" when it comes to Vaping, Best Suited on the other hand, that's up to you! If you're looking for a small, discreet portable device.
The Caliburn by Uwell might be the option for you, utilizing a simple 1 button Pod system allows for easy, uncomplicated CBD Vaping.

Also other devices such as the Vaporesso XROS and the Aspire K3 Kit can also be used for easy function.

Does CBD E-Liquid Contain Nicotine?

No, CBD E-Liquid should not contain Nicotine as standard. Our CBD Products are guaranteed to contain absolutely 0 Nicotine and also under the legal THC Limit of 0.2% THC.

However, if you'd like to Vape CBD and Nicotine at the same time, there are CBD Booster shots available, such as the CBD Booster shot by FLY CBD which allows you to mix the CBD content into your Nicotine based E-liquid or 50ml Shortfill E-Liquid. You will have to calculate the percentage of CBD inside your Shortfill to get accurate results. This is only advised for those who currently Vape. If you don't currently vape then we do recommend using CBD Oil drops

What Strength CBD Should I Vape?

CBD Infused E-juice is available in a range of different strengths and tends to be in steps of 100mg, 300mg, 600mg,1000mg, 1500mg, 2000mg and more.

However we do recommend to start on a low dosage and gradually increase until your desired strength is reached.

But as previously mentioned, it's an idea to factor in that you will need a higher strength if you have a larger body mass compared to an 8 stone, slimmer person who will require less CBD for their desired effect.

How Long Will it Take a CBD Vape to Work?

Dependant on the strength and type of CBD, If you Vape it, it could take as little as 5-10 minutes for it to enter your blood stream and effects to take place. However if you were to use a tincture, it could take between 5-9 hours to run it's course.
